Frame Studio 1.0 is early-access desktop software with a companion local Roblox Studio plugin. Copyright © 2026 VOIDKSA. All rights reserved. You may install this build for personal use and evaluation. Redistribution, resale and rebranding of Frame Studio require written permission from VOIDKSA. These terms do not restrict rights provided by third-party component licenses.

Runtime and video components

Setup downloads unmodified .NET 8.0.31 Windows runtime components from Microsoft and FFmpeg 9.0.1 essentials from Gyan's build repository. Downloads are pinned and verified against published hashes before installation. FFmpeg runs as a separate executable; it is not linked into the Frame Studio app.

• .NET runtime license and Windows Desktop runtime. Their license and notice files are included with the downloaded runtimes.
• FFmpeg Windows build 9.0.1, build information and license, and FFmpeg source downloads. This build is licensed under GPLv3; its license and readme are kept with the installed encoder.

Local recording

The recorder listens only on the computer's loopback address. A short-lived pairing code authorizes the Studio plugin. Your clips are written to the local Videos / Frame Studio folder. Frame Studio does not send recordings to a server or collect usage analytics.

Downloading the site, installer and dependencies makes normal HTTPS requests to Cloudflare, Microsoft and GitHub. Those providers may process standard request metadata under their own policies.

Platform status

Windows 10 and Windows 11 x64 are the current target. The recorder depends on Windows Graphics Capture. There is no macOS or Linux recorder in this release. The installer is unsigned and the build remains early access. No purchase, code-signing certificate or paid cloud service is required to use this build.
